Before you send us a submission, please read this page carefully, as submitting your work means you agree to the terms below.
First, Welcome!
We are excited that you are interested in being a voice for the Be A Light brand! We receive many submissions and inquiries daily, so please be patient with the process. Please also know that we can’t accept everyone, but our team is doing their best to sift through applications and get back to writers individually. If spots are available, and you are a good fit, we will notify you and bring you on board!
Condition of Use: The Site is intended for persons who are of age 18+. By submitting content to the Site, you are acknowledging that you are of age.

By reading this form and submitting your work on the submissions page, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following:
These are the legally binding terms of publication (the “Agreement”) between the individual submitting work (“Contributor”), Be A Light Collective Blog (“Site”) and Be A Light LLC (“Publisher” “we” “our” “us”).
Rights/Release of Rights:
All of the content on the Site, including logos, pages, posts, reviews, images, and other material is owned exclusively by the Publisher and cannot be reproduced, republished, distributed, sold, or otherwise modified without written permission. By submitting content to our site you are acknowledging that:
1. You are the sole owner and author of said material (“Contributor Content”), and that you have the exclusive right and authority to submit Contributor Content upon the terms and conditions stated herein, and that all of the elements of said material are summarized herein.
You also acknowledge that Contributor Content has not been published elsewhere, or if it has, that you have permission to republish the Contributor Content from that specific publisher/site. If you decide to republish Contributor Content from this Site elsewhere, you agree to include the following disclosure: “Previously published by Be A Light at https://bealightcollective.com.”
2. You are releasing the royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive right to use, publish, reproduce, license, sublicense, distribute, sell, perform, translate, display, edit, and otherwise modify your Contributor Content(s) as editors see fit, including any sounds, images, or other embedded data.
Copyright Infringement:
If you believe that any content on the Site infringes on your copyright, please notify us by emailing bealightcollective@gmail.com with the heading ‘Copyright Infringement.’ Please include the (a) description of copyrighted work that has been infringed; (b) the URL of the article or post that infringes on your copyright; (c) your full name and other contact information; (d) a statement of proof; (e) your electronic signature, hereby stating you are the legal owner or agent.
User Content:
You agree that any Contributor Content you submit to the Site will not be unlawful, defamatory, or infringe on the privacy or intellectual property rights of others. You also agree (a) to be solely responsible for any damages resulting from any Contributor Content you submit, (b) that all Contributor Content you submit will be treated as non-proprietary and non-confidential, and (c) not to submit any Contributor Content that contains advertising or commercial solicitations.
Author Profile Page: If and when your Contributor Content is accepted for publication on Be A Light LLC, you can create an author page to promote yourself and your voice to our readers. Your page can allow for personal links and for users to contact you via email, if you choose. Emails sent to you may be accessible to us per terms of our Privacy Policy.
Liability:
None of our founders, officers, directors, members, employees, or representatives shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use Site content. This includes (a) damages caused by defamatory, offensive, or illegal material; (b) damages caused by viruses and other malfunctions potentially caused by the Site; (c) damages for lost profits or loss of data.
Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and release us and our respective founders, officers, directors, members, employees, agents, representatives (and their respective successors and assigns) from and against any and all claims, damages, costs, and expenses including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney’s fees arising from or related to your access, use, or misuse of the Site.
Links:
We do not have control over third party websites, or links not owned or operated by us. We are not responsible for any information, functionality, or content accessed through such websites.
Amazon Affiliates:
We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means to earn revenue by advertising and linking to amazon.com. Links originating on our Site that lead to product purchases at amazon.com generate revenue for us. We may also earn revenue from Site Content that is sponsored by advertisers or other third parties; this content type will be identified as such.
Changes:
We reserve the right to modify or replace any or all parts of this Agreement as we see fit. It’s your responsibility to check periodically for changes. We may also, at any time and for any reason, restrict your ability to access the Site or to submit Contributor Content.
